MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Our mill stands as the largest integrated sugarcane fibre based paper mill in the world.
Tie-up arrangements with surrounding sugarmills and farmers to obtain the waste fibre after the sugar extraction process ensures that we have an ongoing supply of a renewable resource.
We have perfected a unique sugarcane fibre storing facility, preserving, handling, processing and pulping system and our Research and Development technology over a 22 year period has ensured that we remain leaders in high quality sugarcane paper production.
Our green energy consumption during the manufacturing process utilises wind mill farm creating more than 35.5 MegaWatts of power to run machineries and supplemented by agro waste fuel co-generation creating a further approximately 50 Megawatts, and excess power of up to 10 megawatts is passed on to main grid for house hold usage.
The use of a closed loop water cycle and an Elementary Chlorine Free paper cleaning system ensures that our manufacturing processes offer the best environmental standards in practice today.
Our manufacturing processes are ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified and is endorsed by the Singapore Enviro council We are also approved and registered by United Nations Framework on Climate Change (UNFCC). The mill trades more than 160,000 metric tones of carbon credit per annum
